Job Details :

JSL is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Coordinator to join our dynamic team at JSL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the proposal development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality proposals that meet Government needs and align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the development and preparation of proposals, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and deadlines
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and input for proposals
  • Track proposal progress, follow up on outstanding items, and communicate with stakeholders
  • Support the submission process by managing timelines and ensuring all components are completed accurately
  • Participate in proposal reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Maintain a repository of proposal templates, past submissions, and best practices, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible
  • Assist in the development of presentations and other materials
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Capture Managers relative to opportunity research and analysis, capture management, and proposal readiness initiatives

Requirements :

Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal coordination or a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • A thorough understanding of the proposal development process, as well as RFP requirements
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) RFPs and proposals
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment while managing individual project responsibilities
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization
  • Experience with graphic design software a plus

    • Security Clearance :

    Applicants must have an active security clearance and / or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
