Java Developer

A company is looking for a Java Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in maintaining and enhancing cybersecurity protections for legacy medical devices and interconnected applications. Key Responsibilities Participate in development efforts, perform code reviews, and adhere to best practices Streamline development workflows and modernize existing codebases Manage and deploy patches in compliance with VA release protocols Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in development or technical environments Proficient in Java coding and process improvement methodologies U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance Experience with tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Jira, and GitHub
