Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator Welder to join a busy client of ours in Ashford. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading blueprints, measuring and cutting metal components, and performing MIG, TIG, or Stick welding to fabricate a wide range of metal structures and parts. This position plays a key role in manufacturing, repair, and assembly operations, ensuring high-quality and structurally sound finished products.

£14.50-£17.50 ph

Working Hours : Monday-Friday, 7am-3.30pm

Key Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Measure, cut, and prepare metal components to required specifications.
• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, or other techniques as needed.
• Assemble metal structures and frameworks according to design.
• Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Operate tools and machinery such as grinders, saws, torches, and shears.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and production goals.
• Perform maintenance on welding equipment and tools as required.
