COTA - Home Health Contractor Location : Broward County, FL Pay rate : 50 / visit Job Type : 1099 Independent Contractor Job Summary : We are seeking a licensed, compassionate, and self-motivated COTA to join our team as an independent contractor for home health visits in the Broward County, FL area. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of supervisor to administer treatment plans and provide exceptional patient care in their homes. You will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities : Implement patient treatment plans as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Administer therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities within the patient's home. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment procedures, safety precautions, and home exercise programs. Observe, document, and report on patient progress and response to treatment in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain clear communication with the supervising Physical Therapist and other members of the care team. Required Qualifications & Experience : Must hold a current, valid license as a COTA in the State of Florida. Graduate of an accredited COTA associate degree program. Proven experience providing high-quality patient care. Strong understanding of therapeutic principles, exercises, and modalities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care. Schedule & Compensation : Compensation : $50 per visit. Schedule : Flexible daytime hours, typically between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM. Occasional visits outside these hours may be needed. Visit Details : Visits typically last 30-45 minutes.
