We’re seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a fast-paced technology team based in Newton, MA. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) offers the chance to work on cutting-edge automation frameworks, CI / CD integrations, and high-quality software solutions. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.

This is a consulting group that partners with innovative organizations to deliver top-tier automation solutions. They’re looking for a quality-focused engineer who can lead test automation initiatives, improve efficiency across the SDLC, and collaborate with developers to ensure best-in-class system performance. You’ll be joining a collaborative environment where your expertise in test frameworks, CI / CD, and performance testing will directly impact product reliability, scalability, and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years in software engineering and functional automation
  • Proficiency in Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, JMeter / Neoload, and Appium
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI / CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes for test environments
  • Strong database skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of DevOps or test data management experience
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and GCP
  • Knowledge of data management tools such as Delphix or IBM Optim
