Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities : Will be responsible to the Program Manager for the functional execution and controlling cost of the contract, while meeting flying schedule requirements, and meeting technical performance of the company's programs and subsystems of major programs.
Acts as a primary customer contact for program activities, daily performance, and maintenance support requests. Directs maintenance managers and mid-level functional managers to meet contract requirements and milestones. Identifies program challenges, accomplishments, and opportunities, such as production, training, increased flying requests, and negotiating a change to contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program as outlined by the Program Manager.
Assist the Program with :
Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies : Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of aviation aircraft maintenance management, production, and flight line experience OR Associate's degree plus 10 years of aviation aircraft maintenance management, production, flight line, and back shop experience OR High school diploma plus 14 years of aviation aircraft maintenance management, production, flight line, and back shop experience (preferably USN / USMC). Experience in multi-disciplined organizations or programs with Firm fixed-price contracts and Cost-Plus contracts preferred. Must have demonstrated leadership and people management and development skills. Possess strong oral, written, and presentation communication styles and skills. Possess strong customer relationship skills. Must have prior program management experience for military or DoD programs. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite to include MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (secret level).
