Pipe Layer

OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction-Snell JV is currently seeking a Pipe Layer for the Atlanta Region GDOT I-285 / I-20 East Interchange Project in Decatur GA .

The Pipe Layer will perform pipe-laying tasks involving physical labor (laying joining wrapping sealing) on construction jobsites including commercial industrial or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and / or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Lays joins aligns wraps and seals pipe sections clay concrete and other type of pipe for water / gas main sanitary sewer telephone / electrical conduits
• Ability to work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills hammers and other tools as directed by management
• Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor
