Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm, security, access control, and CCTV systems .
Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5 / 6, coax, fiber, etc.).
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and system specifications.
Ensure installations meet NFPA, NEC, and manufacturer standards .
Conduct testing, inspections, and system commissioning.
Complete all required documentation, reports, and close-out packages.
Work collaboratively with project managers, inspectors, and other trades.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in low-voltage installation, specifically fire alarm and security systems.
Working knowledge of fire alarm panels, security panels, CCTV, and access control systems .
Familiarity with NFPA codes, NEC standards, and local regulations.
Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Fire Alarm Technician License (FAL) in Texas preferred (or ability to obtain).
