POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Behavioral Health Manager this position is responsible for providing culturally appropriate professional behavioral health services for the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomis Health and Human Services Department. This position is responsible for working with patients to recognize and address psychological symptoms and conditions using the bio-psychosocial model in a primary care setting.

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team the Behavioral Health Consultant will fulfill the mission of continuous quality improvement of behavioral health substance use and medical treatment services and will assist in achieving the strategic priorities of NHBP within the scope and responsibilities of this position.
