Facility :

This is a Level 3 trauma facility with 74 beds in the department, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to the community. The hospital uses the Epic electronic medical records system and offers a structured, supportive environment for psychiatric providers.

Job Details :

• Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-4 : 30pm with no call or nights - One weekend per month, 8am-4 : 30pm - January-August assignment with approximately 20-22 shifts per month - Epic experience is a MUST - 16-18 patient encounters per shift - Board eligible accepted but must obtain certification within 5 years of residency - Treatment of various psychiatric conditions including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD / ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders - Experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application required - Pharmacotherapy skills required - ECT experience preferred - Active Missouri license or IMLC required - BLS certification required - Estimated credentialing timeframe : 60-90 days - Local providers preferred
