QualDerm Partners is excited to announce an opening for a Medical Assistant to join our exceptional team. In your role as a Medical Assistant, you will be integral in providing top-notch patient care, working alongside a talented group of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during exams and procedures while ensuring all necessary instruments are ready for use.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage the scheduling of patient appointments and handle communication within the office.
  • Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare practices.
  • Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role in a healthcare environment.
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and dermatological practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a busy healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and office software is advantageous.

    Compensation Range : $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
