Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Drive a box truck to deliver / pick up parts at the outside suppliers or at our NTN dock. Drive a sit down forklift to load / unload truck if the NTN dock driver is unavailable. Fill out necessary documentation and bill of ladings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for 5S
- Complete daily checklists and logs
- Drive fork lift to load and unload box truck if dock driver is unavailable
- Use RF scanner or write out a Manual BOL to log shipment you load from NTN dock(s)
- Write out a Manual BOL if an extra stop(s) is required
- Document issues observed during initial inspection and throughout shift
- Pick up and deliver parts to plants or any outside processes
- Communicate with dock personnel
- Communication during shift change about pertinent information
- Any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager
