UC Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions  is seeking an Unified Communications Administrator  to join a National Defense Contract in Norfolk, VA through  100% on site presence . The  Unified Communications Administrator will support secure enterprise communications by maintaining, upgrading & troubleshooting secure Cisco UC systems, resolving service tickets, optimizing performance, and supporting technical refresh projects.

Responsibilities of the  Unified Communications Administrator  include :

• Perform system upgrades, IOS updates & apply IAVA patches to Cisco Unified Call Manager
• Troubleshoot UC system failures, resolve service tickets, and conduct root cause analyses
• Monitor system performance & recommend improvements to enhance efficiency & reliability
• Draft & update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & contribute to UC knowledge management
• Collaborate with NOC & operations teams to resolve complex support issues & implement platform changes
• Mange inventory & asset accountability for US hardware & components
• Lead or support UC implementation & technical refresh projects across sites or locations
