Communications Coordinator
Job Summary The Communications Coordinator coordinates external organizational communications, fundraising communications, and all digital communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Development / Fundraising
Coordinate / assist the work of Development communications activities as directed by the Director of Communications
- Aids in the creation of Development documents including fundraising publications; and communications materials, such as brochures, video components, buck-slips, and digital solicitations.
- Designs original graphics for infographics, fundraising campaigns, annual reports, and key visual communications.
Organizational Communications
Coordinates branding and supports development and implementation of materials and servicesCoordinates the distribution, and maintenance of all print collateral, e.g. program brochures, one sheets, reports, presentations, etc.Participates in working groups to plan, coordinate and execute original communications products and publications related to special events and programs and coordinates the work of the communications teamDigital Communications
Manages all social media across 3 platforms including creating original graphic and video content and writing all textCoordinates website maintenance-ensures that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) is posted regularlyMaintains responsibility for all assigned digital communications, including original graphicsLeads the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable actionManages calendar, and tracks the results of all email communications; tracks and measures the level of engagement within the network over timeProvides training / support to key staff for digital toolsCommunications Assets
Manages graphic designers, and other vendors, and manages library of communications assets (photographs, designed elements, videos) and ensures availability to key staffActs as primary photographer / videographer in support of social media and special development projects.The information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job. Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree (marketing preferred) or equivalent experience (4 years)At least 4 years communications experienceExcellent writing, graphic design, and computer skillsExperience using Canva graphic design toolExperience managing social mediaWhat Qualifications or Experience You May Bring :
