POSITION SUMMARY : The Apprentice Nurse will practice their clinicalskills and become acclimated to the role of licensed nurse. Apprentice Nurse works in a health facility (hospital, skilled, nursingfacility / long term care facility), community health maintenance organization (HMO),providing nursing care following a skills list approved by the Board of Nursing. - Works using the guidelines established by the Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
- Assists in care plans and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients / residents requiring long-term and / or rehabilitation care.
