Field Service Controls Engineer

Superb automation systems integration firm seeks Field Service Controls Engineer with automation and controls programming and troubleshooting background.

This position requires 50% overnight travel.

• AAS degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology
• Field service automation and controls engineering related experience
• PLC software and hardware experience
• Control system troubleshooting
• Food & beverage industry experience is a major plus
• Preventative maintenance
• Instrumentation testing and calibration
• Process-related machine repair and troubleshooting
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• P&ID's
• Electrical schematics
• Valid driver's license
• Automotive, Material handling equipment, conveyors, and similar industrial automation and control systems industries preferred
• Client interaction skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel 50% overnight
