Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

LifePoint Health s Triangle Springs facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join their inpatient team on an ongoing locum tenens basis. This is an immediate start with emergency / temporary privileges available and flexible scheduling open to both full-time and part-time physicians. If you are North Carolina-licensed you can make your own schedule and name your own price. Assignment Highlights Location : Triangle Springs Raleigh, NC Setting : Inpatient Psychiatry (Acute Unit 21 beds within 77-bed facility) Schedule : Monday Friday, 8-hour days Physician can begin rounds at preferred start time but must attend 9 : 00 a.m. treatment team meeting. May leave premises after rounds but must remain available by phone until 5 p.m. Call : None required Patients per Day : Average Admissions / Discharges : 2 each per day Support Staff : On-site NP coverage EMR : HCS (orders) and Fluency Flex (notes) Board Requirement : BC / BE in Psychiatry Certifications : BLS required Temporary Privileges : Yes expedited for clean files ( days full) Scope of Practice Adult inpatient psychiatric care, including treatment of : Anxiety, affective, psychotic, and personality disorders ADD / ADHD, developmental, and organic disorders Responsibilities include pharmacotherapy, coordination with the care team, and participation in treatment planning. No outpatient work, ECT, or call required.
