Skilled Nursing facility is hiring experienced physical therapy assistants for 13-week contracts in Carmichael, CA.

Schedule : Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday- Thursday

Job Responsibilities :

• Patient Treatment : Directly assists patients with exercises, stretches, and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
• Patient Monitoring : Observes patient responses before, during, and after therapy and reports findings to the PT.
• Patient Education : Teaches patients and caregivers how to perform exercises and maintain health at home.
• Documentation : Records patient progress and treatment details.
• Setup & Maintenance : Prepares treatment rooms and equipment and keeps them clean.
• Support : Assists patients with mobility, including using assistive devices like walkers or canes.

Requirements :

Active CA PTA License / Certification

At least 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
