Role Accountabilities
Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics (domestic and international)Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documentsServe as a liaison between the leadership team and internal / external stakeholdersOrganize and facilitate leadership offsites, town halls, and strategic planning sessionsTrack action items and follow up on behalf of executives to ensure timely completionHandle confidential information with integrity and discretionSupport financial processes including expense reporting, purchase orders, and budget trackingAssist in project coordination and cross-functional initiativesMaintain filing systems and organizational recordsProvide backup support to other executive assistants as neededCoordinate with the Business Development team to support customer visits, including scheduling, logistics, and hospitality to ensure a seamless experienceManage office and departmental supplies, including monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and liaising with vendors to ensure timely replenishment and cost-effectivenessAttend leadership-tier meetings, capture minutes or key takeaways, and support post-meeting follow-ups to ensure alignment and execution of strategic prioritiesSyngene Values

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered8+ years of experience supporting senior executives, ideally in biotech, pharma, or R&D environmentsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)Ability to prioritize and multitask under pressureHigh emotional intelligence and professionalismFamiliarity with Syngene’s mission and valuesAbility to work within a matrixed organizationExperience leading and participating in cross-functional and / or global teamsEffective communicator with strong leadership and interpersonal skillsExcellent analytical problem-solving skills with strategic and tactical thinkingAbility to collaborate with internal and external partners at multiple levels.Ability to manage, prioritize and work cross functionally to influence behaviors and gain consensusExperience- 8+ Years
