About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Legal for Networks in Latin America. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a legal team and providing comprehensive legal support to the company's media network business in the region. This includes a wide range of activities such as program acquisitions, production, advertising sales, and regulatory compliance. The role demands a seasoned attorney with a strong background in transactional and commercial law, particularly in the media and entertainment sector. The Vice President will be involved in structuring, negotiating, and drafting various legal agreements, and must have a proven track record in managing a legal team. Experience in media networks, production, program licensing, and a deep understanding of the legal landscape in Latin America are essential. Applicants for the Vice President, Corporate Legal position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of post-JD / Bar admission experience, with at least 5 years' in a managerial role. The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with a preference for those who are also fluent in Portuguese. The role requires a professional with outstanding academic credentials, strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. The Vice President will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships across the business and to be adept at prioritizing and taking initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Membership in the Florida Bar or California Bar is a requirement, and experience in the major LATAM markets is highly valued.
