Due to two internal promotions, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy highway and civil construction projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do :

As Project Manager, you’ll oversee all phases of civil construction projects, ensuring they’re completed safely, on time, and on budget. You will :

Analyze project plans and specifications to define scopes of work

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources

Coordinate project teams, including field crews, subcontractors, and vendors

Manage contracts, permits, change orders, and purchasing

Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency

Lead project meetings and communicate with clients, engineers, and inspectors

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Track job costs, billing, and financial reporting

Troubleshoot issues and manage risks proactively

Oversee multiple crews and ensure smooth project execution

What We’re Looking For :

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring :

• Project Management experience in heavy highway, road, or civil construction with INDOT or ODOT projects required
• Strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams
• Solid understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Budget, scheduling, and project performance analysis skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Tech skills : Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project); familiarity with software like Bluebeam, OnStation, or ITAP is a plus
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites (within a 125-mile radius)
• Ability to split time between office and field (about 50 / 50)
• Willingness to work extended hours, including some nights and Saturdays as projects require
