Job Summary :
Supermicro is seeking a seasoned Data Center Network Architect to lead the design of scalable, high-performance network fabrics. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to enable services like AI infrastructure, GPU-as-a-Service, and collocation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Clos-based architecture, customer-centric design, and service enablement. You will define the network architecture roadmap and drive delivery of business-aligned infrastructure solutions in close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Design Clos-based leaf-spine network architectures to support GPU clusters, AI workloads, and enterprise infrastructure across multi-rack and multi-site environments.
Translate customer requirements into robust network designs. Lead presales efforts, POCs, and solution development for colocation, cloud, and hosted services.
Architect and launch new service offerings such as GPU-as-a-Service, hybrid cloud interconnects, secure tenant access, and regional PoP connectivity.
Collaborate across operations, facilities, and sales to align design and delivery. Present technical strategies and architecture of roadmaps to internal leadership and customers.
Create and maintain architecture standards, LLDs / HLDs, port maps, and deployment templates to ensure consistency and operational readiness.
Lead technology assessments across DPUs, optical systems, and AI-capable switching. Forge strategic relationships with vendors and partners to influence roadmap direction.
Guide team development, improve architectural workflows, reduce technical debt, and champion automation and documentation best practices.

Salary Range
140,000 - $160,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
