We design, implement, and service technology systems that simplify the lives and operations of our clients.

About the Role :

As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for managing the installation of AV technology integration systems in the residential market. We are looking for a talented technician who is comfortable working alone to skillfully run wire, furnish and install technology devices, and to occasionally work with other installers to manage the day-to-day onsite scope of work to help successfully drive projects to completion.

An effective Installation Technician manages communication with the lead installer and other trades to deliver quality projects leading to repeat business.

As an Implementation Programmer, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of AV technology integration systems in the residential market. You will provide coding solutions for both simple applications and complex information for operating systems. Attention to detail and an analytical mind are essential qualities for a successful career in programming. The goal is to design and build clean and functional software by writing clear and flawless code.

An effective field programmer manages communication between the design team, installation labor, and other client services teams while completing quality work retaining repeat business.

Responsibilities :

  • Configure, deploy, test, and commission automated control systems for residentials and commercial job sites. Utilize software tools from Crestron, Lutron, Savant and Control4.
  • Read and interpret AV system drawings
  • Gather programming requirements
  • Lighting system programming design to meet requirements and system capabilities
  • Install control programs onsite, offsite, and remotely in physical systems
  • Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as needed
  • Demonstrate completed system to client
  • Create programming-related documentation
  • Maintain and update programming and code in installed systems
  • Maintain control code in version control repository
  • Travel to various job sites

Requirements :

  • Proven work experience as a Cable Technician or similar role, with experience in one or more of the following areas :
  • Networks

  • Control systems
  • Phone / Intercom Systems
  • Surveillance Systems
  • Security Systems
  • Access Control Systems
  • Audio / Video Systems
  • Lighting Control Systems
  • Automated Shading Systems
  • HVAC Systems
  • Pool / Spa Controls
  • Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Log project hours and complete work orders in company systems.
  • Proficient with test and calibration equipment
  • Understanding of programming languages
  • Proficient in control system designs (Crestron / Lutron / Savant / Control4)
  • Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems
  • Advanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization, and operations on A equipment
  • Salary & Benefits :
