Job Summary :
This role is for a Sterile Processing Technician working evening shifts (2 PM - 10 : 30 PM) for a six-week assignment. The technician will process approximately 65 surgical cases and 1200 trays daily, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and trauma services. Experience in various surgical specialties is required, and weekend work is mandatory.

Responsibilities :
- Sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Decontamination of used instruments and equipment.
- Assembly and wrapping of instrument trays.
- Case cart preparation.
- High-level disinfection (HLD) procedures.
- Scrubbing procedures.
- Maintaining inventory and supply levels.
- Supporting various surgical specialties (Ortho, Urology, Endo / Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Bariatrics, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Transplant, Robotics, Implants).
- Experience with surgical case processing in an inpatient, outpatient, and trauma setting.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Minimum of two years of experience in Sterile Processing.Certification as a CBSPD or IAHCSMM.Experience with surgical case processing in an inpatient, outpatient, and trauma setting.Experience with sterilization, decontamination, assembly / wrap, case cart, HLD, and scrub procedures.Experience with a variety of surgical specialties (Ortho, Urology, Endo / Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Bariatrics, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Transplant, Robotics, Implants).Inpatient, outpatient, and trauma setting experience.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
Experience with ophthalmology cases.Experience utilizing SPM (Surgical Process Management).Experience using Epic (Electronic Health Record System).Special Considerations :
Weekend work is required.No floating between units.Block scheduling is not guaranteed; case-by-case consideration possible.Guaranteed 40 hours per week.COVID-19 vaccination is required (no exemptions accepted).Scheduling :
