Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

A healthcare organization in central Connecticut is seeking a part-time OBGYN physician to provide comprehensive women's health services in a well-established practice.

Length : January through March

Schedule : 2-3 days per week, including weekday call coverage (preferably Tuesday) and one weekend per month.

Setting : outpatient care and labor & delivery coverage.

Responsibilities

Provide a full spectrum of gynecological and obstetrical care, including :

Preventive screenings (breast, cervical cancer)

Menstrual and menopause management

STD treatment and contraceptive counseling

Prenatal, postpartum, and breastfeeding support

Routine and surgical gynecological procedures

Labor and delivery coverage

Collaborate with a supportive team of colleagues and hospital staff

Utilize integrated EMR systems for documentation (eClinicalWorks in office; Meditech in hospital)

Participate in call coverage as scheduled

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. with completion of an accredited OB / GYN residency

Board certified or board eligible (certification within 5 years of appointment)

Active CT State License
