Resilience Program Manager
The University of Miami's Climate Resilience Institute (CRI) is seeking a full-time Resilience Program Manager to assist with research, strategic visioning, and execution of the Institute's growing work program. The Resilience Program Manager plays a key role in supporting CRI's strategic initiatives, including expanding research and applied activities, strengthening internal and external partnerships, enhancing student engagement and curriculum initiatives, and promoting climate resilience innovation. The position requires a dynamic, adaptable professional who can collaborate effectively across university departments, local government agencies, external organizations, and other stakeholders while managing multiple concurrent projects. Working alongside the Institute's staff and in collaboration with UM faculty, the Resilience Program Manager helps to advance CRI's position as a leading convener and thought leader in climate resilience.

Core Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Master's degree preferred and / or experience in related fields such as : public policy, ecosystem science, law, strategic planning, urban planning, community development, real estate, management consulting, higher education.
Experience : Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes : Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder, community-based projects and teams. Experience coordinating and advancing partnerships across academic institutions, government agencies, and / or non-profit organizations. Strong understanding of and interest in climate resilience concepts, such as nature-based solutions, climate tech and entrepreneurship, resilience finance, climate and health outcomes, disaster planning. Exceptional project management skills with ability to envision and track metrics of success. Superior facilitation skills for productive meetings and panels. Grant research and writing experience, particularly with large-scale collaborative proposals. Excellence in written and verbal communications across diverse audiences with ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences. Experience supporting fundraising efforts and donor engagement strategies. Experience with event planning and execution for conferences and high-profile convenings. Interest and experience in including and mentoring students in all aspects of a work program.
