Employment Type : Full-Time or Part-Time

Compensation : $65,000-$80,000 based on experience

About the Role

We’re looking for a Therapist (LCSW / LPC / LMHC / LMFT) with heart, empathy, and a strong clinical skillset to provide on-site mental health services in nursing homes and long-term care facilities. What You’ll Do

✅ Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to residents' unique emotional needs

✅ Conduct clinical assessments, including cognitive screenings and diagnostic evaluations

✅ Design and implement personalized behavior management strategies

✅ Support residents facing grief, loss, adjustment, and mental health challenges

✅ Collaborate closely with facility staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams

✅ Educate and train staff on behavioral health best practices

✅ Ensure compliance with care standards and promote alternatives to psychotropic medications and restraints

What You Bring

Master's Degree in Social Work

Active Massachusetts License

Understanding of geriatric and subacute mental health needs

A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills

Clear, compassionate communication

Bonus if you have :

Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care

Knowledge of dementia care and pain / behavioral interventions

Willingness to travel within 45 minutes of your home base
