Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant for a contract position in the Orthopedics specialty. The role primarily involves assisting in patient care and performing clerical tasks to support the medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

Rooms patients

Takes Vitals

Takes Patient History and chief complaint

Clean and disinfect room and medical devices

Answers incoming calls or returns voicemails as needed

Assists in prepping charts and ensuring all documentation is ready

Assists with prescription refill calls and authorizations as needed

Other duties may be assigned
