Job Overview :
The Program Manager will join the Digital Program Management Office (PMO) within the Marketing organization of the Client Business Group. This role requires a strong leader with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to contribute to a world-class digital program management office. The Program Manager will collaborate with various levels of the organization, digital product owners, subject matter experts, and IT teams to deliver valuable outcomes for customers. A significant focus will be on value stream management.
Responsibilities :
- Drive a portfolio of work and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Support PMO team members to maintain a world-class PMO operation.
- Lead cultural change by promoting transparency, integrity, and experimentation.
- Contribute to a comprehensive digital project inventory and roadmap.
- Co-own the Front Door Process to prioritize incoming work requests.
- Define, document, and promote project planning, execution, and reporting standards.
- Lead key strategic digital initiative launches end-to-end.
- Optimize and govern the use of project and portfolio management tools like JIRA and Clarity.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to address resource constraints proactively.
- Develop and implement portfolio-level reporting to turn data into actionable insights.
- Validate process improvements and evaluate post-implementation success.
- Manage integration efforts in a matrix environment with high levels of ambiguity.
- Identify and address blockages in the delivery pipeline to improve flow.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or seven or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Four or more years of experience in portfolio management methodology and techniques.Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including waterfall and agile.Experience in organizational structure and PM Office build actions.Desired : Master’s degree, value stream management experience, and experience setting up and running a new PMO.Experience in digital, web design and development, and e-commerce.Strong interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills.Proficiency in Google Suite, MS PowerPoint, and Excel.Experience using agile tools and methodologies.About PTR Global : PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
