Location : Forest Hills & Jackson Heights, Queens, NY

Schedule : Full-Time | 37.5 hours / week | Some evening and Saturday availability a plus

Bleuler Psychotherapy Center is seeking an experienced Intake & Assessment Clinician to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This role is not a general therapy position - it's ideal for licensed professionals with at least 4 years of post-master’s experience conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments for clients entering mental health or substance use treatment.

You’ll play a vital clinical gatekeeping role by assessing risk, determining service appropriateness, and shaping care pathways for children, adults, and families across our Article 31 and Part 822 clinics. If you're clinically sharp, systems-oriented, and passionate about access and equity, we’d love to meet you.

What This Role Is (and Isn’t)

• ✅ A diagnostic and intake specialist role that evaluates clients for care
• ✅ Focused on clinical formulation , risk assessment, documentation, and handoff
• ❌ Not a fee-for-service therapy caseload
• ❌ Not a general outpatient therapist position
