United Woundcare Institute is seeking a driven and compassionate Business Development Account Manager to drive growth and awareness for our wound care services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic relationship builder and a brand ambassador, responsible for establishing and nurturing strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. This role is essential to our mission, directly contributing to our company's success by increasing referrals and ensuring seamless, high-quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management & Networking : Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key referral sources, including physicians, hospital systems, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and home health agencies.
- Sales & Outreach Strategy : Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets. Conduct market analysis to identify new trends and opportunities and develop targeted marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility.
- Educational Presentations : Act as a subject matter expert by educating healthcare professionals and community members on the benefits and criteria of our advanced wound care services through presentations and educational seminars.
- Referral Generation & Management : Proactively identify and engage potential referral partners. Track, analyze, and report on referral activities to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration : Work closely with our clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to ensure a smooth transition for patients and a consistent, high-quality experience.
- Community Engagement : Represent our company at relevant community events, health fairs, and professional conferences to expand our network and enhance our brand presence.
- Problem-Solving : Serve as a primary point of contact for referral partners, addressing concerns and resolving issues effectively to maintain strong partnerships.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience : Proven track record in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare field (2+ years preferred). Experience in wound care, home health, or a related sector is highly desirable.Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Must be comfortable with public speaking and effectively communicating the value of our specialized services.Interpersonal Skills : Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals and professional groups, demonstrating cultural competence and empathy.Strategic Thinking : Strong ability to develop and implement strategic marketing and outreach plans that align with business goals.Self-Motivation : Highly organized, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape, with a focus on wound care services and relevant regulations.
