In our 1 : 1 ABA setting, you will work hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing, center-based environment. With superior supervision, ongoing training, and a passionate team by your side, you will make a meaningful impact each day!
Responsibilities as a Behavior Therapist
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, completing insurance notes, and applying supervisor feedback during observation sessions.
- Encourage development in early childhood (ages 18 months to 8 years) through engaging therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to maximize treatment effectiveness, safety, and enjoyment.
- Engage with children through play, movement, and imitation, tailoring activities to each child’s interests, whether that’s running, dancing, reading, or playing games.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders (peers, families, supervisors) to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and address personal needs.
Job Requirements
Physically capable of lifting and moving children, which includes the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and quickly engage with young children in a flexible environment.Maintain a therapeutic environment by ensuring play spaces are clean, organized, and conducive to stimulating experiences for children.Demonstrate multitasking skills to manage various activities, decisions, and interactions while prioritizing safety and engagement.Work cohesively within teams, potentially traveling to nearby centers for additional support when assigned.Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a 40-hour training curriculum, hands-on competency assessment, registering for an exam, and passing the board's exam.

Associates / High School : $20.00 - $24.00Bachelors : $20.00 - $25.50Masters : $20.00 - $28.00Entry-level candidates earn their first raise upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.
