About the Position

Impact is seeking a full-time Medical Record Specialist to join our expanding team!

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Accurately enters a variety of data into information systems

Fax and retrieval of medical records; follow-up phone calls for missing documentation

Documents efforts within the electronic medical record

Alerts appropriate management team members regarding late or missing documents

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced and finds enjoyment in making outbound phone calls

Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate by phone with physician clinics

Previous work with electronic medical records (EMR)

Ability to quickly navigate within an electronic fax program

Computer skills, with the ability to learn additional skills in EMR, Metro-fax, Adobe, and Google

Pride in customer service (a must!)

Reliable; self- and team-motivated to accomplish goals

High school graduate or equivalent; CNA / MA training helpful

Previous experience in home health or hospice medical records preferred

Ability to manage time effectively
