PAY : $55,000 - $65,000

JOB SUMMARY : This position is located at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City and supports the Enterprise Services Center, Engineering and Solution Delivery (ESD) Branch. ESD provides a wide variety of information technology and business services to the FAA, DOT, and other government agencies including Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) configuration, support, application administration, information technology consulting, project management, life cycle software development, and ongoing maintenance and operations support.

PRIMARY DUTIES :

• Works under close supervision in assisting Level II and III Programmers in accomplishing the duties assigned to them.
• Performs evaluation and implementation tasks for ORACLE E-Business versions 11i / R12and ORACLE E- Business related software products by applying product knowledge, industry experience, and project methodology.
• Provides knowledge of specific software product modules or technical tools with hands-on experience and has the ability to transfer knowledge and skill.
• Familiar with key Business roles and knowledgeable about applying technology to Business operations in at least one industry.
• Applies industry knowledge, knowledge of area of expertise, E- Business and ORACLE product knowledge to gather and document customer Business process requirements.
• Develops or executes basic functional and technical specifications and testing for system configuration, mapping, and reporting.
• Executes project plan tasks and other duties as assigned. Provides regular status on tasks and issues.
• Works with engineers and analysts to research and incorporate the business and operational requirements into new or existing systems.
• Provides advice on project direction and project planning to support enterprise systems including : project phases, project deliverables, key project decision milestones, project assumptions, staffing and industry best practices. Areas of Expertise : Functional Area such as Payables, Payments, General Ledger, Sub-Ledger Accounting, iProcurement, Payroll, Workflow, Inventory and Asset Management.

REQUIREMENTS :

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE :

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :   Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline with a minimum GPA of including completion of relevant programming coursework, is required.
