Our organization is seeking a full-time optometric technician to join our growing, multi-office practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, performing preliminary testing as well as insurance verification and other admin duties. Candidates must be friendly, energetic and enjoy working as part of a team to complete tasks each day.

Responsibilities :

• Assist optometrist in performing routine eye exams
• Perform vision tests and record results
• Obtain medical history and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide patient education on proper contact lens care and use
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits
• Scheduling appointments and checking patients in / out
• General office / admin duties

We are open seven days a week. Weekends are rotated between technicians so some are required. Hours are Monday through Saturday 9 : 00am - 6 : 00pm and Sunday 12 : 30pm - 4 : 00pm.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $13.00 - $18.50 per hour / bonus structure in place.
