job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDescription : This company is looking to add a Database Administrator to their team. They are in the process of moving their onprem systems onto AWS, so experience with AWSPostgres is a must. Below are qualifications for the role : 5 years DBA Experience Extensive industry experience (5+ years) that include serving as a DBA in all facets of DBMS design, implementation, deployment, administration and maintenance, and project coordination 5 years or more of experience in database environment life cycle management and support of production and development environments 3 years DBA working experience in private / public Cloud environments (AWS) Experience supporting Data Warehousing and ETL processing Experienced in database and disk system performance tuning Self-motivated detail oriented and highly responsible Capable of handling multiple assignments and additional responsibilities Expert level Postgres DBA knowledge and experience with Postgres 9.x, 10.x, 11.x - Postgres certification preferred Extensive Postgres technical experience in the following : High Availability solutions using multi-master replication, Disaster Recovery solutions using Data Streaming Backup and recovery using PG dumps and file system level snapshot options Performance tuning, production operations & support Experience with MySQL 5.x / 8 MySQL technical experience in the following : High Availability solutions using MySQL replication Performance tuning, production operations & support Skills : Database administrator, Sql server, postgresql, aws Top Skills Details : Database administrator,Sql server,postgresql,aws Additional Skills & Qualifications : N / A Experience Level : Intermediate Level About TEKsystems : We're partners in transformation.
