Work Schedule : Full time, Monday through Friday 7 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm (40 hours), Macedon, NY

A Day in the Life of a Team Supervisor :

As a full-time Team Supervisor you will supervise direct care staff while creating a stimulating, sensitive and normalized environment in the Day Habilitation Program

  • Oversees development and implementation of Day Habilitation plans.
  • Provides training to staff.
  • Reviews documentation of service plan interventions and monthly notes. Documents other situations and contacts with other providers as needed.
  • Participates in life plan meetings and completes related documentation.
  • Purchases program supplies within budgetary guidelines and completes correlating requisitions.
  • Relates to people supported in a sensitive and age appropriate manner. Assists people supported with personal, physical and emotional needs as necessary.
  • Participates in building evacuation and fire drills and completes required documentation.
  • Reviews / interviews job applicants and completes paperwork as needed for the hiring process.
  • Administers and charts medications accurately and in accordance with medication administration guidelines and individual care plan. Performs related medication recordkeeping, acquisition, storage and medication counts.

    • Who We Are Looking For :

  • Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field and one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities, or High School Diploma (or GED) and two or more years of experience working with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must possess a current, valid New York State Driver's License that meets Agency Driver standards
