Ourclient, a Global leader in accounting, is looking for a Data Architect / DBA fora long-term contact in DC. The description of the role and responsibilities arebelow.

NOTE : This is a Govt. initiative project and only US citizens can apply. All selectedcandidates will go through an extensive background check. This role is animmediate need and interviews can be arranged with in 24 hours of our initialconversation.

Location : Washington, DC. The role has a possibility of complete remote after InitialOnboarding.

Duration : 12%2B months Contract

Skills :

a.7%2B years experience in hands-on database architecture, administration, andperformance tuning.

b.Strong proficiency with relational database systems : Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL,PostgreSQL.

c.Ability to capture data requirements, translate them into technicalrequirements and then architect and develop the supporting data model and datamanagement solution.

d.Expertise in database design, data modeling (logical and physical), andnormalization. Deep knowledge of backup, recovery, and high-availabilitystrategies (e.g., replication, clustering, failover).

e.Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures,and triggers.

f.Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend,SSIS).

g.Experience with data governance, security, and compliance standards (e.g.,GDPR, HIPAA).

h.Cloud database experience : AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner, etc.
