Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple client engagements; planning, executing, directing, and completing engagements in a wide variety of industries; and managing to budget with management support
  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities of engagements to ensure high-quality services are delivered
  • Prepare or review financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters
  • Direct and perform research and support for projects with limited supervision
  • Assist manager in preparing budgets and commit to those budget and timelines adopted by the team
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships through superior customer service. Serve as a client contact on related matters
  • Recognize and resolve or elevate potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting, as necessary
  • Consulting, working with, and servicing client base to make recommendations on business and process improvements. Serve as a business advisor to clients
  • Assist in the development and execution of department’s various training programs
  • Set and monitor staff scheduling and workloads
  • Encourage the continuous technical and soft-skill development of staff by providing timely feedback on engagements
  • Participate in recruitment events

  • Required Experience

  • Tech-savvy : Strong Excel and MS Suite skills; able to quickly learn new software programs
  • CPA or CPA track with 3+ years of progressive CPA firm experience
  • BS in Accounting, MSA or MBA preferred
