Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Design Engineer for its PCI LYMO operations based in Londonderry, NH . This individual will be responsible for the following duties :

• Attend kick off meeting with Estimating and Operations staff at the beginning of projects to ensure scope, project details, and contract requirements are understood before shop drawings and / or modeling begin.
• Prepare shop drawings for exterior wall cladding products using AutoCAD and Revit. Products include MCM and aluminum plate rainscreen panels, Insulated metal panels, single skin metal panels, and various specialty panel systems.
• Create 3D models of wall cladding systems utilizing Revit.
• Coordinate PCI scope of work with other trades shop drawings and models.
• Actively participate in project coordination and design meetings.
• Elevate model and document inconsistencies to the attention of the Design Manager and Operations Team to determine what action is to be taken.
• Prepare material orders based on approved shop drawings and structural calculations.
• Attend staff training to enhance staff members' knowledge and expertise of the standardized software used.
• Create and maintain project-specific content to ensure they are consistently aligned with instructions, guidelines, in-house standards, and the project's BIM standards.
• Actively engage with Design and Operations Team to implement best BIM / VDC practices.
