Job Summary :
We are in search of a seasoned General Accountant for a contract role focused on supporting our month-end and year-end close processes, with a strong foundation in technical accounting and the capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role entails diligent preparation and analysis, including journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany balance confirmations, and financial analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Offering a remote work setup, this position requires a self-motivated individual who is proficient in using extensive computer applications to fulfill accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities for timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP; perform account reconciliations.
- Confirm and reconcile intercompany balances across entities.
- Provide support for ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested.
- Collaborate with teams for documentation accuracy, maintaining compliance with internal controls.
