Healthcare Setting : Hospital – Cardiac Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology

Start Date : September 24, 2025

End Date : December 24, 2025

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2410-$2580

Shift : 12-hour day shifts with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends, holidays)

Call Frequency : 1-2 nights during the week and 1 weekend per month

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum 3 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in critical care or cardiac nursing

Cardiovascular intervention experience required

Active Wisconsin or Compact Registered Nurse license

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Successful completion of EKG test

National Institute of Healthcare Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking to deliver patient-centered cardiac care

Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of care in the cath lab

Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital policies

Ensure accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Educate and support patients and families regarding cardiac procedures

Participate in department and unit performance improvement initiatives

Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other healthcare units and departments

Manage complex cardiac situations and delegate tasks appropriately

Engage in ongoing professional development and continuous learning
