Key Responsibilities   Key responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to : Culture / MissionEmbodies and exemplifies the Pretty Please Collective Culture and instills those values and behaviors in their team.Supports owners and upper management's vision and direction, and provides professional and positive perspective to achieve these goals.Knows and implements company policies and procedures.Provides a model of supportive and participative leadership promoting theconcepts of team building and empowerment.Leads by example through delegation in store maintenance and operations.Maintains daily / weekly communication with the upper management and headquarters in relation to team performance, visual and promotional needs and inventory requirements.Expedites all directives in a proficient and time sensitive manner with follow up communication to the stores team.SalesSets the pace on the sales floor and works closely with the team to assist in building their sales and increasing their statistical performance.Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving customer service issues. Develops and implements marketing ideas and special events.Understands forthcoming customer initiatives and monitors what local competitors are promoting to drive their business. Assists the owners and upper management with all endeavors to reach out to local schools, businesses, and community fundraisers to assist in marketing the Pretty Please Collective. Endeavors to book styling appointments and ladies night monthly.Expand and maintain a local clientele.HiringHelps to maintain a highly seasoned staff by recruiting, selecting and interviewing all potential talent to Pretty Please Collective. Responsible communication to upper manager with concerns on onboarding which includes : Offer Letter and DocuSign New Hire Paperwork. Training and DevelopmentFully completes all training packets with the employees full understanding in their 90 day periodContinuously educate and develop team members in : Customer relationsSuggestive sellingMarketing eventsOperations and proceduresMerchandisingCreating and administering required reviews. Oversees and delegates to Assistant Managers,  Sales Lead in the coaching and training of Sales Stylists and overall store maintenance and operations.Maintains a safe and professional work environment by listening to staff and by keeping an open dialogue.ScheduleEnsures the store is appropriately staffed and covered based on projected business.Stays within the company's payroll matrix.Touch base with every staff member throughout the week.InventoryEnsures product is received and transferred properly.Regularly checks and corrects inventory and negative on hand reports.Participate in physical inventory.MerchandisingDirects merchandise presentation, restocking and recovery to maximize productivity. Sizes and organizes merchandise (clothes, jewelry, gifts, and accessories).Facilitates a clean store.Manages stock levels and gives weekly input in Weekly Recap Report to the owners and upper management regarding stock control; analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales.
