As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) System Administrator, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and customer-focused environment. As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) System Administrator, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and customer-focused environment. You will partner closely with team members, enterprise architects, business analysts, and internal stakeholders to secure and streamline access across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the Azure Entra environment to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID user access including role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, and access policy enforcement.
• Leverage Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps to identify, monitor, and secure Cloud applications.
• Implement and manage Entra ID Governance (access reviews, entitlement management, lifecycle workflows, separation-of-duty policies).
• Configure and support Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Azure single Sign-On (SSO) including integration with enterprise apps.
• Design and enforce advanced identity security controls including multifactor and password-less authentication (FIDO2 keys, Windows Hello for business), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Just-in-Time (JIT) access.
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for optimization.
• Stay current with roadmap releases; recommend and champion adoption of new Entra and Defender for Cloud Apps capabilities.
• Collaborate across teams to design and implement IAM solutions aligned with business goals and security standards.
• Provide technical support and training for end users and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for customization and integration.
• Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of security processes and workflows.
• Partner with security leadership and stakeholders to implement access models that align with organizational risk tolerance and Zero Trust principles.

This is a 6-month Contract-for-Hire opportunity with our Topeka, KS-based client. 100% Paid employee Medical / Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) (with immediately vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.
