job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCollaborate with the Electrical and Utilities Managers on projects, audits, and system improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems (air handlers, automated doors etc). Coordinate projects and installations with outside vendors and contractors. Conduct system site visits, analyze performance, and create facility improvement plans. Review blueprints, operations manuals, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with code and safety standards. Monitor building management systems, power distribution, and electrical controls to maintain long-term efficiency. Lead and support staff training and retraining on electrical and electronic systems. Bachelor’s degree + 2 years relevant experience, OR Associate’s degree + 4 years relevant experience. Project coordination experience with contractors and vendors. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to develop creative work-around solutions. Experience with digital automated building management systems, electrical power distribution, and / or automation and electronic control systems (fire alarm, security / nurse call, lighting controls, automatic doors) is preferred.
