What You'll Get to Do :

• Responsible for overall retail product portfolio;key product lines include consumer and business deposit accounts (checking, HSA, money market, IRA, CDs and payment products)
• Define the product strategy and how it aligns to Farm Bureau Bank's overall objectives in order to profitably grow the deposit portfolio
• Be the subject matter expert with respect to competition, industry trends, and changing customer needs
• Manage new offerings and enhancements throughout the product lifecycle
• Manage market research to understand industry and product trends, assess customer behaviors and attitudes and plan product enhancements accordingly
• Communicate industry and market research to ensure the sales team is current on competitor offerings / promotions
• Manage product training to include sales training as well as ongoing training to support product / feature enhancements, refresher training, or other training / communications
• Work with sales management to develop the annual marketing campaign to include sales goals, promotional campaigns, andadvertising materials needed whilemonitoringperformance
• Act as first point of contact for all deposit product related inquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues to address any issues that may arise
• Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple lines of business

Education and Experience :

• Broad knowledge of core consumer banking products and services, including experience with branch and on-line sales environments.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Product Management experience, with some being in the banking industry.
• Retail banking experience beneficial.
• Broad experience in product management of both asset and liability products.
