JOB TITLE : Technical Specialist- Program Analyst

LOCATION : Arlington VA

REQUISITION # : VAUSSF PMA

CLEARANCE : Secret

REPORTS TO : SABG Program Manager

FLSA STATUS : Regular Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY : SABG is seeking a Technical Specialist- Program Analyst to support the USSF PMA in Arlington VA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in planning developing and overseeing implementation of personnel policies guidance programs and legislative initiatives
• Familiar with US Airforce Reserves and Active Duty military and civilian personnel actions; accessions; recruiting; assignments; benefits; joint talent development; compensation; career development; leave promotions etc.
• Assist in advising the Chief Human Capital Officer on congressional liaison and engagements
• Coordinate development integration and resourcing of information technology systems supporting human resource management programs and process human resource technology prioritization and technology scouting

SUPERVISION : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

COMPUTER SKILLS :

COMPETENCIES : To perform the job successfully an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read analyze and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and / or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
