We are seeking a detail-oriented Inpatient Coder to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will accurately assign medical codes to inpatient records, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and supporting revenue cycle management through precise documentation review.

Role : Inpatient Coder

What You'll Do :

Review and analyze inpatient medical records for coding accuracy

Assign ICD-10-CM / PCS codes following official guidelines

Support revenue cycle by ensuring proper DRG assignment

Query physicians for clarification when documentation is incomplete

Maintain coding productivity and quality standards

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coding policies

What We're Looking For :

1+ years of inpatient coding experience

Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM / PCS coding systems

Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy

RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification preferred

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to work independently in remote environment
