As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, offering exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication at all times. You will play a key role in supporting hospital operations by assisting guests and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism.   • What You'll Do :
  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and visitor credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disruptive behavior.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, visitor check-ins, and any incidents that occur.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with staff and visitors to address security-related concerns, provide directions, and assist with inquiries.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following the procedures and instructions provided by Allied Universal and client site leadership.
  • Minimum Requirements :
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
