Job Purpose :
Assists Baker on all Bakery, Pastry, and Viennoiserie Production.
Duties :
- Fulfills daily bakery, pastry, and viennoiserie orders.
- Viennoiserie lamination, bread mixing and shaping, feeding levains or other preferements.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitization standards of bakery production area and equipment.
- Adheres to dress code.
- Must be friendly and interactive with staff.
- Multitasks while adhering to a strict production schedule.
- Must have basic understanding of mixing, shaping, scoring, baking, and conversion from the US to Metric system.
- Updates mixing and production logs throughout the shift to ensure consistency of baked goods
Skills / Qualifications :
Basic Dough Handling; Calculating Water Temperature; Bread Shaping; Basic Understanding of lamination; Bakery Production Equipment Uses; Understanding of Mixing, Fermentation, Dividing, Shaping, and Baking Process. Basic Math. Requires briefly lifting items up to 50lbs.
